Selected Paintings

Nature survives and adapts.  This series of paintings are rendered in the style and palette of Old Masters and recall Bosch.  Under ominous skies and otherwise barren landscapes, there exist these oddly shaped, enormous plants.  Mutations that bloomed in the aftermath of Three Mile Island are recalled in these botanical paintings.  These paintings were also the subject of a personal memorial, In the Name of the Rose.
