Mutants

"I am become as one." Alchemists were seeking to change base metal into gold.  As an artist, I was seeking to become an alchemist: seeking to transform ordinary metal into extraordinary beings.  Three Mile Island and its aftermath was a source of inspiration for this work.  The New York Times described them as "futuristic." 

These life size mutants were shown at the War of the Worlds exhibit at Princeton, NJ, and also Windows on White NYC.
