The butterfly is symbolic of love, death, transformation, and rebirth, as well as a symbol of our fragile and complex ecology.  The fragility of the species is the subject of this exhibit.  As nature survives and adapts to its environment, what forms or beings can we expect to see?  Selections from this installation seek to balance the circumstantial appearance of these mutations with the deeper, emotive reality of what is occurring in the very cells of these strange yet menacing beings.
